Welcome to the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
In the fall of each year, the New Faculty Orientation provides information specific for new faculty in the College of Human Medicine. It complements orientation provided by the university, MSU Health Care and the department. This year's event will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023.
The goals of the college's New Faculty Orientation are:
- To provide a brief introduction to the College of Human Medicine.
- To share college and university resources for faculty development and support.
- To introduce the expectations for retention, promotion and tenure for the range of College of Human Medicine faculty appointment systems.
- To allow new faculty to interact with College of Human Medicine leaders and resource people.
- To support peer networking among new faculty across the college.
- To discuss topics and issues of interest to participants.
