Midland Regional
The Midland Regional Campus is located at MyMichigan Health. Established in 2010, approximately 20 third- and fourth-year medical students complete their clerkships in Midland, Clare, Gladwin and Alma hospitals and clinics.
Students experience medical training in both urban and rural settings, and become highly engaged in the community through service learning projects. Students volunteer at local shelters and community resource organizations, as well as mentoring premedical students.
The Midland Campus offers the Rural Community Health Program (R-CHP). Students split their clinical training between the community’s full service hospital and rural education sites. They gain a deeper understanding of the rural health disparities through involvement with public health organizations and other experiences.
