Public Health

Two departments in the College of Human Medicine — Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and the Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health — include faculty studying the health of our state’s population. Both departments offer public health research and professional degree programs.

Our Public Health Footprint is Growing

Construction is currently underway for the 40,000 square foot expansion of the former Flint Journal Building. The new space will house the college’s 18 tenure stream faculty expansion of the Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health.
