Teddy Bear Health Fairs
The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Teddy Bear Health Fair is a free community event created to help children understand the importance of health and wellbeing and provide a fun, safe environment for them to interact with doctors, health care providers and first responders.
Children are encouraged to bring a favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal for a wellness check-up with physicians and students from MSU’s health colleges. Other activities may include booths with face painting, balloon animals, giveaways, arts and crafts, vaccinations and more.

East Lansing
We welcomed more than 800 people to the annual Teddy Bear Health Fair at MSU Dem Hall Field in East Lansing. Thanks to our sponsors MSU Federal Credit Union, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, McLaren Greater Lansing and Ivy Rehab for Kids for your continued support of this family friendly event.

Flint
The college hosted another successful Teddy Bear Health Fair in Flint! From stuffed animal “check-ups” with our medical students to family activities and community health resources, this day was made extra special by the families who joined us. Thanks to our sponsors CRIM Kids Classic, Genessee health system, Genessee Intermediate School District, Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health, Greater Flint Health Coalition, Mott Community College and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Grand Rapids
In June, we welcomed 400+ people to the Teddy Bear Health Fair in Grand Rapids at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
