Mission: This group hopes to create a diverse community of individuals who can benefit from the holistic effects of yoga. Yoga has long been recognized to improve mental health, physical well being, and to promote a sense of well-being among practictioners. Medical school is well-known for being stressful and challenging, and students benefit from non-class related activities. Through weekly classes both at local institutions as well as free group-led classes, we are excited to bring this opportunity to our classmates.
