In accordance with this view, we establish this Constitution to be our guiding document in all organizational affairs. The organization will not discriminate on the basis of age, color, gender, gender identity, disability status, height, marital status, national origin, political persuasion, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or weight. Also, only MSU students may be officers and/or voting members.

Refugee Outreach Collective at MSUCHM (ROC MSUCHM)
National Organization (organization that is affiliated with a national membership organization)
Mission: ROC amplifies diverse narratives of migrant and displaced communities through alliance and relationship building. We work to make the U.S. a more welcoming place to resettling communities and to eradicate refugee camps as a normative concept.
The CHM ROC chapter is centered around three pillars: education, service, and advocacy. ROC strives to foster culturally conscious care by educating the greater Grand Rapids and Lansing communities about the health disparities induced by the global migration crisis. Furthermore, we aspire to serve local families through a network of medical students and physicians by providing resources and care for the recently resettled. Lastly, we advocate to eliminate prejudice and create discussion amongst our community.
