The U.S. government implements the Export Control Regulations to protect U.S. foreign policy and national security interests including anti-terrorism, non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and the preservation of U.S. economic competitiveness. MSU’s Office of Export Control and Trade Sanctions (ECTS) provides oversight and guidance to MSU faculty, students, and staff to assist in compliance with these regulations.
