Business Office Resources

The Business Office handles financial operations and administrative & reporting support for the College. Among its’ responsibilities are: 

  • Preparing budgetary information for use by the College and departments
  • Monitoring and reconciling accounts for general funds, discretionary funds, and endowment funds
  • User support with KFS, Concur, and Anaplan/Spartan Financial Management systems.
  • Administration of the College’s Medicaid Enhanced Reimbursement (MER) program
  • Contract support and management for our work with over 60 affiliated medical partner groups across the state.

PCard Information

  • The MSU PCard, a MasterCard® product, is designed to allow for the direct procurement of low-dollar, low-risk purchases by faculty and staff through the use of a credit card. The PCard program increases efficiency by eliminating the need for small dollar requisitions, disbursement vouchers and petty cash funds.

Brad Kline

Chief Financial Officer


Manages the college's finances and develops a long-term financial plan in line with the college's and universitie's strategic priorities.

Michael Braem | Contract Manager
Mike oversees/negotiates all contracts for the college, ranging from simple service agreements to the over sixty affiliated partnerships we have across the state for our Education/Research programs. 

Eric Brewer | Budget Officer
Eric oversees the college's annual budgeting process and works closely with Deptartment and College Administration to ensure each general fund dollar is accounted for. Eric is also the college lead for the university budgeting and allocation systems.

Pamela Carpenter | Data Resource Analyst
Pam devotes much of her time to creating and maintaining data reports which help guide college leadership.  She is deeply integrated with the Research Office and also provides support across other University units. 

Jo Harmson | MER Program Manager
Jo facilitates the funding both in and out of the college associated with the Medicaid Enhanced Reimbursement (MER) program and is the college's direct contact for more than 60 affiliated groups across the state.

Alexander Scott | Fiscal Officer
Alex is responsible for the Dean’s Office Endowment reconciliations, all invoicing associated with our MER program, Scholarship reporting, and is the finance office Concur expert. 

Megan Spaulding | Office Assistant
Megan provides admin support across the Business Office. Megan also has various Account Reconciliation & Fiscal Officer Responsibilities for the Dean’s Office. 

Trisha Maxwell | Financial Analyst
Trisha oversees budgets and financial reporting for all of the college's Dean’s Office units.
