Poster Presenter Information
Congratulations! The following information is for those who have been selected to present a poster at the Medical Education Scholarship Showcase. If you have received an acceptance notification, we are excited to have you share your work on May 14th from 5:00–7:30 p.m. at the Secchia Center in Grand Rapids.
To confirm your participation, please complete the acceptance form by April 17.
Schedule
5:00-5:30p – Food, set-up, mingle, view posters. Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of the event so that you can set up your poster.
5:30p – Keynote Speaker: Paul Hemmer, MD
6:30p – Poster Session A – Half of accepted posters
7:00p – Poster Session B – Half of accepted posters
We suggest you find two authors to attend and present if possible. This way you can each take a shift presenting so the other can view posters.
Poster Design & Printing
Posters do not have to be a specific size or template but preferred size is 48” x 36”. Posters must be submitted in PDF format (PowerPoint will not be accepted).

Send posters via FileDepot to Mary Verhanovitz. Please include:
- Your Full Name(s)
- Poster Presentation Title
- College
- Cohort Campus

Please look for an email about a week before the showcase with a few final details including:
- Your poster number so you will know where to hang it.
- A request for a PDF of your poster.
