Directions to MSU College of Human Medicine Secchia Center:

From the East

  • Follow I-96 west toward Grand Rapids
  • Keep left at the split and take I-196 west toward Downtown Grand Rapids/Holland
  • Take exit 77C, (Ottawa Avenue); stay in the far-left lane
  • Turn left on Michigan Street; MSU Secchia Center is ahead on the left
  • Either enter from the center lane into Entrance 1 or continue past the Secchia Center and turn left at
    the first light, Bostwick Ave., Entrance 3
  • Veer left towards the MSU Secchia Center; straight ahead is the circle drive for drop off
  • Public parking entrance is on the right

From the West

  • Follow I-196 east toward downtown Grand Rapids
  • Take Exit 77C (Ottawa Ave.)
  • Stay in far-left lane and proceed onto Ottawa and the Michigan Street light
  • Turn left on Michigan Street
  • MSU Secchia Center is ahead on the on the left
  • Either enter from the center lane into Entrance 1 or continue past the Secchia Center and turn left at
    the first light, Bostwick Ave., Entrance 3* (*Veer left towards the MSU Secchia Center; straight ahead is
    the circle drive for drop off and public parking entrance is on the right)

From the North

  • Follow US 131 south to Grand Rapids
  • Take I-196 east
  • Move to the right lane and take Exit 78 (College Ave.); stay in the right lane
  • Turn right onto College Avenue
  • Turn right onto Michigan Street
  • Continue on Michigan Street .6 Miles to Bostwick Avenue
  • Turn right on Bostwick Ave., Entrance 3
  • Veer left towards the MSU Secchia Center; straight ahead is the circle drive for drop off
  • Public parking entrance is on the right

From the South

  • Follow US 131 north to Grand Rapids
  • Take Exit 85B (Pearl Street); stay in the right lane
  • At the bottom of the ramp proceed straight on Scribner Ave.
  • Continue to the next light at Bridge Street and turn right (Bridge Street turns into Michigan Street after
    you cross the bridge)
  • Proceed .5 miles; the Secchia Center is on the left
  • Either enter from the center lane into Entrance 1 or continue past the Secchia Center and turn left at
    the first light, Bostwick Ave., Entrance 3
  • Veer left towards the MSU Secchia Center; straight ahead is the circle drive for drop off
  • Public parking entrance is on the right

Circle Drive Drop Off and Pedestrian Entrance

  • Use the circle drive to drop off guests.

Parking Structure Information

  • To enter the parking structure, take a parking ticket from the dispenser (If prior arrangements have been made for reimbursement, please bring the parking ticket with you)
  • Drive to level P3 and park in a space labeled Secchia Center Visitor Parking near the west end of the
    parking structure
  • Use the Spartan Green elevators FURTHEST TO THE WEST and proceed to the 1st floor to check-in with
    Security
  • When exiting the building, take the elevator identified as Access to Parking and proceed to level P3
