On May 14, 2026, the college hosted its annual Medical Education Scholarship Showcase.

The Medical Education Scholarship Showcase is an annual event that highlights innovative, scholarly, and creative work in medical education across the College of Human Medicine. The Showcase brings together students, residents, faculty, and staff to share ideas, spark dialogue, and celebrate contributions to medical education. 

We invite medical students and faculty to submit poster proposals and join us for a day of learning, scholarship, and community.

The Maatsch Scholar Presentation will be delivered by the 2026 Jack L. Maatsch Visiting Scholar, Paul Hemmer, MD.

The 2026 showcase will be held in Grand Rapids.
