Bio

Denny Martin DO, MS, Assistant Dean of Clinical Simulation, is a graduate of Lyman Briggs and the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Genesys Regional Medical Center and continues to practice his specialty. Dr. Martin joined MSUCHM in 2010 as assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology. He joined the ObGyn Residency faculty at E.W. Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI in July 2016 as associate program director. He earned a master's degree in healthcare management from the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University in 2023. 

Dr. Martin served in executive leadership roles during his time at Sparrow Health System including serving as Chief Medical Officer and President of the Lansing hospital. He serves as the Medical Director of the Greater Flint Health Coalition, engaging with the three health systems in Flint/Genessee County and multiple community partners (including MSU) working to improve the health of citizens in Flint. His research activity has included medical education as well as clinical research into human reproduction. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to northern Michigan with his wife, Angie, and two daughters Addison and Brynn to ski, golf, and hunt.
