Bio

Adam G. Lamm, MD, MA, FAAPMR, is chief of the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine at MSU College of Human Medicine.

Dr. Lamm specializes in the care of individuals with traumatic brain injuries, ranging from concussion to disorders of consciousness. He completed his medical education at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) and his internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Boston, MA). He completed his residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation and a fellowship in brain injury medicine at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA) where he served as a chief resident. He currently serves as the program director of the Mary Free Bed PM&R residency (Grand Rapids, MI) and as its Designated Institutional Official.

Dr. Lamm’s research focuses on brain injury rehabilitation outcomes, educational process improvement, and health systems research. He is active in the Residency & Fellowship Program Director workgroup within the Association of Academic Physiatrists and has presented nationally on both education and curriculum innovations as well as medical management of brain injuries.
