Dean Rayamajhi’s One Team One Health Update
March 11, 2026
Earlier today, the President announced the next phase of MSU’s One Team, One Health initiative. It is a continued evolution in MSU’s health sciences enterprise that positions us to lead in a rapidly changing landscape, while building on the strengths that define our college.
This will take place thoughtfully over time through additional review, engagement and approvals in coordination with appropriate accrediting and governance bodies, university protocols, and the Board of Trustees. As conversations continue, my role is to ensure that the strengths, identity and contributions of our college remain central to the process. While we may not have all the answers at this moment, I am committed to sharing updates with you as more information becomes available in the months ahead. Please reach out to me directly with questions you may have.
At its core, One Team, One Health is about aligning our structure with our strategy so that we can fully leverage our strengths in education, research and clinical partnerships. Our path forward is focused on growth, opportunity, and collaboration.
We remain dedicated to training the physicians of the future and finding solutions to the nation’s most pressing health challenges.
In Spartan Spirit,
Supratik Rayamajhi, MD, FACP
Interim Dean, MSU College of Human Medicine
