In this Transforming Health Grand Rounds lecture, Carlos Cubia will examine how health care policy, structural conditions, and community-centered strategies can drive more equitable health outcomes.

Meet the Speaker
Carlos Cubia is Chief Community Health Impact & Belonging Officer at Corewell Health and a member of the Executive Leadership Council. He leads systemwide strategies advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and health equity, with a focus on creating inclusive cultures and improving health outcomes for all.
Previously, Cubia served as Senior Vice President and Global Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, overseeing enterprise-wide DEI strategy for more than 400,000 employees across 17 countries. An MSU alumnus, he has been recognized nationally for his leadership and serves on several nonprofit and community boards.
