You are cordially invited to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society Gama Chapter Virtual Induction Ceremony. This year's guest speaker is Richard Gunderman, MD, PhD, Chancellor's Professor and John A Campbell Professor of Radiology at Indiana University.
About the Speaker
Richard Gunderman, PhD, is Chancellor’s Professor at Indiana University, holding positions in Radiology, Medical Education, Philosophy, Pediatrics, Liberal Arts, Philanthropy, and Medical Humanities. He is also the John A. Campbell Professor of Radiology. Gunderman earned his AB from Wabash College, MD and PhD from the University of Chicago, and MPH from Indiana University.
He has received numerous honors, including the Indiana University Trustees Teaching Award ten times and the Alpha Omega Alpha Robert J. Glaser Award for Teaching Excellence. A prolific author, he has published over 1,000 articles and 15 books. Gunderman has also served as president of both the IU Health medical staff and the IU School of Medicine faculty.
