AOA Virtual Induction Ceremony

You are cordially invited to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society Gama Chapter Virtual Induction Ceremony. This year's guest speaker is Sharon Lewis, MD, associate professor of neurology and assistant dean for diversity recruitment at the University of Pennsylvania.
About the Speaker
Sharon Lewis, MD, specializes in general neurology and neuromuscular medicine. She completed her neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 and stayed on as a faculty member.
In her role as assistant dean for diversity recruitment in the program for diversity and inclusion at the Perelman School of Medicine, Dr. Lewis is the faculty advisor for several health care pipeline programs that impact high school to undergraduate students from underrepresented groups in medicine. She is a mentor to the incoming underrepresented students and serves as a guide to navigating their journey through medical school.
Dr. Lewis was inducted into AOA as a medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
