Bio
Jamila Power, MD, is the community assistant dean of the Lansing Campus, and assistant professor at the College of Human Medicine. She is a board-certified emergency physician.
As the Community Assistant Dean, Power oversees the third and fourth year medical students who are training on the Lansing campus. Some of her duties in this role include mentoring, teaching and career advising. She is the lead preceptor for the second year medical student rotation in Emergency Medicine at Sparrow Hospital.
Power graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2014. She completed her residency training in emergency medicine at McLaren Greater Lansing and Sparrow Hospital where she served as chief resident in her senior year.
