Bio

Tamara Frank serves as the student programs administrator at the MSU College of Human Medicine Upper Peninsula Campus, where she is dedicated to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. 

A graduate of Northern Michigan University with a degree in Computer Information Systems, Tamara brings strong organizational and technical expertise to her role. Growing up in a military family fostered her adaptability, curiosity, and love of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. 

Since joining the campus, she has developed a deep appreciation for the impact of medical education and finds great fulfillment in helping students navigate their educational journeys. Her passion lies in creating a supportive learning environment and contributing to a mission that ultimately improves healthcare in communities across the region. 

After relocating to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Tamara embraced the area's natural beauty and close-knit communities, making her home in Gwinn with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring vintage treasures, and making memories with her grandchildren. She is proud to be part of a campus that plays a vital role in educating future physicians and advancing healthcare throughout the Upper Peninsula.
