Bio
Erica Farr serves as the director of academic affairs project initiatives and as community health outreach specialist for MSU College of Human Medicine. She also holds a faculty appointment in the Office of Medical Education Research and Development (OMERAD), where she contributes to educational scholarship, faculty collaboration, and institutional initiatives that strengthen health professions education.
Her work centers on systems thinking, strategic implementation, and building collaborative partnerships across the college and community to strengthen academic operations, health compliance, and health professions education. She enjoys bringing people together to solve complex challenges and developing sustainable, evidence-informed solutions that advance organizational effectiveness and support the college's mission.
Erica is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH), where her interests bridge public health and academic medicine through prevention, implementation science, applied research, and systems improvement. She is passionate about translating evidence into practical solutions that strengthen institutions, improve health outcomes, and prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
