Bio
Theresa Couch is the director of research administration operations, where she works with both the College of Human Medicine Office of Research and the Office of Health Sciences to oversee and enhance research initiatives.
She joined MSU in 2015 in the Office of Sponsored Programs and later joined the Health Colleges Research Services. Prior to her current role, she served as Research Administration Manager for the pre-award team in April 2022.
Couch’s professional experience is wide ranging including proposal preparation and submission, program reporting, financial management, and nonprofit development. Theresa earned a Bachelor of Art in science, technology & society from Butler University and is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
She was the recipient of the SRAI Future of the Field award and SPA Unit Administrator Spotlight award in 2021.
