Bio

Erica Phillipich leads the community engagement and outreach efforts for the college in the East Lansing and Lansing communities. In this role, Erica develops and strengthens relationships with hospitals, community-based organizations, and industry partners, as well as business and community leaders. She also identifies opportunities for the college’s faculty, staff, and students to engage locally – from opportunities to share research to participating in service learning. As a Lansing native, this position allows Erica to build upon her network and experience to strengthen and grow our engagement across the greater Lansing region.

Prior to joining the College of Human Medicine, Erica led MSU’s health promotion efforts to support the wellbeing of the university’s 50,000 students. Ms. Phillipich also served as director of organization and development for the National Social Norms Center, in partnership with the Anheuser-Busch Foundation.

Erica has a Bachelor of Science in family community services and a Master of art in higher, adult and lifelong education, both degrees from Michigan State University.
