Bio
Srinivas Kavuturu, MD, FRCS, FACS is an associate professor of Surgery and the interim chair of the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Kavuturu received his medical degree from NTR University Health Services, Kurnool, India and completed a general surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, Bronx NY. He completed the minimally invasive surgery fellowship and the Hepato-Pancreato-Bilary Surgery fellowship at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershy, PA and the general surgery fellowship at Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. As a general surgeon in Lansing, Dr. Srinivas Kavuturu performs surgical procedures to treat conditions affecting the abdomen and related structures, like hernias or tumors.
