Bio

As the community engagement & outreach administrator in Detroit, Arlynn Dailey plays a pivotal role in fostering connections and collaboration between the college and the vibrant communities of metro Detroit. She develops and implements external relations strategies to propel the college's visibility and engagement in the region, and unite community leaders, students, alumni, industry partners, and university officials in a shared vision for progress.

She is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in health and risk communications at Michigan State University. She is also a Certified Business Professional through the State of Michigan and has been recognized as a nominee for Corp! Magazine's Most Valuable Professional in 2020. Her extensive experience includes spearheading special initiatives for the State of Michigan, focusing on workforce and economic development projects at both local and regional levels.

Dailey is a Detroit native and actively participates in community leadership programs, including The Detroit Regional Chamber's Leadership Detroit XL III. Most notably, she led MSU's community engagement efforts to support the city of Detroit's Community Benefits Ordinance process for the Future of Health project—a monumental $3 billion development in the New Center area, slated to begin its first phase of build-out in June 2024.
