Become a Social Ambassador

 

Are you passionate about sharing the College of Human Medicine experience and showcasing your community campus? We’re looking for students to become Spartan Med Social Ambassadors and help create fun, engaging content for the college’s social media.

  • Time Commitment

    We understand that the demands of medical school are ever-changing and busy, so we are committed to being flexible with your involvement. We’ll work with you to ensure your contributions fit within the time you have available.

    The commitment spans the school year, and while there are no strict content quotas, we ask that you:

    • Attend a one-hour meeting every two months to brainstorm and collaborate with the team.
    • Contribute to at least 3 social media posts over the course of the school year.
    • Participate in a group chat or teams channel to share ideas, opportunities, and content in real time.

     

    Note: This is our first year doing this program. Since we’re starting late in the year, you’ll have the option to extend into next school year. You can also choose to leave at any time if the role is not right for you.

  • What You’ll Do

    As a Spartan Med Social Ambassador, you will help guide and create content for the college’s social media accounts. Your contributions may include:

    • Brainstorm and suggest creative content ideas.
    • Record and create compelling video content.
    • Capture photos and videos at events. 
    • Host Instagram takeovers to showcase student life and experiences.
    • Share photography and videos of life at your community campus.
    • Encourage peers to submit stories, tag our accounts, and engage with content.
    • Keep an ear out for interesting student stories and accomplishments to highlight.
    • Provide quotes or descriptions to help craft engaging captions.
    • Engage with content by liking, commenting, and sharing posts.
