Excellence-in-Teaching Citation (Graduate Teaching Assistant)
Based on university criteria, this award recognizes graduate teaching assistants who have distinguished themselves by the care they have given and the skill they have shown in meeting their classroom responsibilities. The essential purpose of the citation is to bring University-wide recognition to the best of the graduate teaching assistants and by so doing to underline the qualitative contribution which they are making to the undergraduate program.
Up to 2 nominations from the College of Human Medicine
Criteria
- Instructional effectiveness.
- Use of innovative techniques and/or approaches in teaching.
- Scholarly promise.
- Other significant involvement and/or activities.
At the time of nomination, the nominee must be a graduate student who has had assigned instructional responsibility for at least one semester
Eligibility
The nominee must be a member of the academic staff appointed as an academic specialist in the College of Human Medicine for a minimum of ten (10) years of continuous service.
