Reasons to Contact

A College of Human Medicine student might contact the Student Resolution Advocate if they:

  • Have concerns in the educational setting that are not being heard.
  • Think treatment by CHM in the educational setting seems unfair or insensitive.
  • Have experienced mistreatment (or wonder if they have) and would like to discuss this.
  • Would like help navigating a grade appeal.
  • Disagree with College policy and have not found a platform to express this.
  • Want to make suggestions about how to improve the College of Human Medicine learning environment.

College of Human Medicine faculty most commonly contact the Student Resolution Advocate when they are helping a student to report a concern, but occasionally may have a concern about a student that they would like to discuss with the SRA.
