This interdisciplinary research forum will convene leading researchers, clinicians, and industry innovators to highlight the applications of AI in healthcare. With presentations featuring industry perspectives, MSU experts, and a panel discussion on ethics and policy, this forum is intended for MSU researchers to explore new ideas and advancements of healthcare applications using AI.

Park W. Willis, III, MD was the original program director for the MSU-Sparrow Cardiovascular Disease Program. Dr. Willis joined MSU’s College of Human Medicine in 1979 where he served as Professor of Medicine and Chief of Cardiology until retiring in 1996. The Park W. Willis III, M.D. Endowment for Excellence in Cardiology Fund was established in his honor after his passing in 2003. This event, in part, was made possible through this fund.
Format
Presentations will begin at 1 p.m. in the Frey Foundation Auditorium, room 120. Upon completion of presentations, a networking reception with light refreshments will follow in the Bill & Bea Idema Atrium, room 100.
