Bio
As Senior Director of Development, Karen serves as the lead philanthropic officer for the MSU College of Human Medicine. Karen leads the college’s Advancement team, comprised of development and alumni relations professionals, by guiding mission-driven communication, engagement, and major gift fund development in support of the college’s priorities and initiatives. Prior to joining the college in September 2023, Karen spent over 16 years at Ferris State University in progressively responsible roles, most recently serving as director of advancement for their major gift efforts. Karen holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
