  • Laura Santoro, MD, clinical assistant professor, received the Department of Family Medicine Community Faculty Award in recognition for her dedication to teaching and mentoring medical students.
  • Jack Lipton, PhD, chair of the Department of Translational Neuroscience, was elected the next president of the Association for Medical School Neuroscience Department Chairs (AMSNDC).
  • Alumnus Chad Klochko, MD (CHM ‘13), received the 2022 Outstanding Alumni Award by the MSU Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities.
  • Carol Parker, PhD, has been appointed associate dean for administration.
  • Robin DeMuth, MD, has been appointed associate dean for undergraduate medical education.
