Wayne McCullough, PhD, interim director of the Division of Public Health and director of the Master in Public Health program, received the MSU Outstanding Supervisor Award.
Sean A. Valles, PhD, director of the Center for Bioethics and Social Justice, announced a partnership with Center for Values in International Development.
Arlynn Dailey, Director of Community Engagement & Outreach - Detroit, has been selected to participate in the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership program, an eight-month transformational leadership program designed to challenge emerging and existing community leaders from Southeast Michigan to bring about positive change.
Nicholas Kanaan, PhD, professor in the Department of Translational Neuroscience, was named the Maibach-Smiley Professor in Alzheimer's Disease Research.

Second-year student Mahfujul Haque was awarded a $5,000 scholarship from the Panacea Financial Foundation, a 501(c)3 focused on strengthening the pipeline of underrepresented ethnic and racial minorities in medicine.
