College of

Small Group Discussions

Faculty and staff are encouraged and invited to discuss experiences related to working in the MSU health colleges in the aftermath of the Nassar tragedy: What has it been like for you? What has been helpful or hurtful in dealing with it? How can we create trauma-informed conversation with each other?

Small group reflections are 90-120 minute sessions open to all faculty and staff in the Colleges of Human Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine and Nursing, as well as MSU Healthcare.

Reflect and Connect

Also, the MSU Work Life Office offers Reflect and Connect, a series for faculty and staff to come together to examine the impacts of contemporary events/tragedies on work and personal lives and provides a space to explore best self-care-/work-effectiveness strategies.

The office will bring a session to Grand Rapids on November 20 from 12-1:30 pm, if there is enough interest. Please RSVP at and choose the 11/20/2019 session.
