Anatomy & Structural Biology
Housed within the Department of Radiology, the Division of Anatomy and Structural Biology administers gross and microscopic anatomy courses for the College of Human Medicine. Additionally, the division presents undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in human gross anatomy, various specialized anatomy courses to surgical residency training programs in Michigan and professional post-graduate programs in other colleges at MSU. Research activities span a number of diverse subjects such as the functional anatomy of repetitive stress injuries revealed by sophisticated imaging techniques and comparative studies of mammalian nervous systems.

Fifth Annual Molecular Imaging Workshop: The Potential of Molecular Imaging in Drug DiscoveryOn July 29 and 30, 2004 the MSU Department of Radiology and General Electric Medical Systems are hosting the Fifth Annual Molecular Imaging Workshop: The Potential of Molecular Imaging in Drug Discovery. The goal of this workshop is to congregate leaders in the field of molecular imaging to present recent scientific developments and to discuss current research issues.
