David Van Andel Life Sciences Achievement Award

MSU College of Human Medicine is accepting nominations for the David Van Andel Life Sciences Achievement Award to recognize and honor an individual who has made significant contributions to translational medicine and life sciences research efforts in West Michigan. 

The College of Human Medicine will honor the Award recipient by providing a scholarship to an exceptional MSU College of Human Medicine medical school student in the name of each award winner.

This award will be offered annually to an individual who has made significant contributions in one of the four areas:

  • A research scientist or clinician who has made a significant impact toward improving human health. 
  • An entrepreneur who makes significant progress commercializing life science discoveries.
  • An advocate for life sciences research or commercialization. 
  • A philanthropist whose giving has enhanced translational medicine or life sciences research.
Deadline for nominations: April 11, 2008.
